ボルージュ　中国の事業基盤強化、コンパウンド新増設、Ｒ＆Ｄ施設も検討

　【広州（広東省）＝白石孝祐】アラブ首長国連邦（ＵＡＥ）の大手石油化学メーカー・ボルージュは、ポリオレフィンの中国市場展開に拍車を掛ける。２０１０年に年産５万トンのコンパウンド拠点を立ち上げた上海で、当初から視野に入れていた増強を具体化する。現在、計画を推進しており、生産能力を同８万トンに引き上げる。また中国における同社の第２拠点となる広州（広東省）の設備は、１２年半ばの完成を目指し同１０万５０００トンの工場を構築する計画で、中国でのコンパウンド能力を１８万トン強に拡大する方針。上海では中国市場に対応した研究開発拠点の設置についても検討を開始した。同社ではルワイス（ＵＡＥ）での３期計画「ボルージュ３」を１４年半ばの完成を目指して推進中。年産能力を２倍近い４５０万トンとする同計画と並行して最大市場の中国での供給体制を一段と強化していく。
